Thanks for visiting our site.

We are Janice and Chris and we have been selling beads online since October, 2000.

Janice is a recently retired 1st and 2nd grade teacher after 31 happy and productive years at the same school in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. Chris is a semi-retired pianist, music director, conductor, orchestrator and copyist, having been a part of making music in New York since 1973.

Janice has always had a passion for crafts and started making beaded projects in the Spring of 2000. After buying at the local bead store and paying those high prices for a couple of months, Janice's daughter, Jamie, suggested we look for beads online through Ebay. The deals were great, the selection was extensive and the competition for an auction was lots of fun.

By the fall of 2000, we had more beads than we could ever hope to use, so we decided to try our hand at selling. The first auction sold the first time out and we haven't looked back.

The following summer we painstakingly started building the website - page by page - to the point now where you can browse through 1500+ pages of beautiful beads!!!

We hooked up with a wonderful bead importer who carries a vast selection of sizes, types and colors and we have been slowly building up our inventory to the point where we can now offer you 1000's of beautiful beads at great prices.

Janice does all the packaging and labeling and Chris handles the computer work and mailing.

We also have a house full of animals - 4 cats and 16 dogs (all small, thank goodness!) and love every one of them. Our newest addition is Gracie-May (Miniature Schnauzer).
